How to enter
There are just two categories, Amateur and Professional – recognising the creativity of both established and up-and-coming talent. Enter your best work and tell the world about what went into producing it. Work will be judged by the G-Technology jury on uniqueness, creativity, quality and determination.
Photography
Enter just one picture in JPEG/PNG format, with a maximum file size of 2MB (maximum dimensions of 1280 x 1280 pixels at 72dpi).
Film/Animation
Submit a link to your film entry (short or feature film) via a reference video uploaded by you to youtube.com, myspace.com, vimeo.com or video.google.com. A full-length version of the film should also be posted on a DVD to: Harry Cott, The Liquid Way, 8 North Street, Guildford, Surrey GU1 4AF, UK.
Music
Enter one submission only of a music file via the online link in the application form to a reference music file hosted on the 3rd party sites soundcloud.com or podomatic.com

As developers of innovative storage solutions for those looking to push creativity beyond the limits, G-Technology by Hitachi is delighted to officially announce the winner of its second annual Driven Creativity Competition 2011 - Amateur Film Entry, We Miss You by student filmmakers Steffen Wilhelm (Producer), Sebastian Bandel (Producer), and Hanna Maria Heidrich (Director). The judges’ favourite, his evocative short film embodies the creative spirit of the competition. We are delighted to award him with the top prize of €5,000 and a G-Speed Q.
Open to amateur and pro photographers, filmmakers and musicians from all over Europe, the Driven Creativity Competition not only recognized the aesthetic qualities of creative work, but the invention and drive which went into creating it.
Thank you to everyone for taking part and a special well done to all the shortlisted, runners-up and winning entrants.
