When visiting a bull breeding farm in eastern germany I photographed the animals held there under normal though unpleasant conditions. I was fascinated by the mighty presence of these huge bodies in captivity, their only purpose being to supply meat for human pleasure. To portrait one of these animals with all the details of how they are held written on their bodies was my challenge. The gentleness of the pose, offering its "meat" to my camera in such humble manner was finally accomplished by this beautiful creature on the photo.
